What kind of work do you do?

I mostly do digital illustration work! But I am also experienced in traditional work and would love to complete a traditional piece for you!I also am skilled and experienced in murals and graphic design! Including things like logos, promotional graphics and vectorized illustrations! Ask me for a quote on your own company logo!!

What is your turnaround time?

Depending on your spot in my queue you may have to wait your turn!
However, Once I have begun your commission, depending on the type of commission you want, I will have your finalized piece to you within 5-14 business days of starting your project!!
Of course, as I said, you do have to wait your turn if you're not first in my queue.
Good products take time so this is not a guaranteed completion time frame!
Your completion date can be affected by things such as scheduled days off, very large commissions ahead of yours (such as groups of 10+), sick days or multiple work in progress alterations!

Do you take requests or give out free art?

I DO NOT take requests!
This is my job! I have bills and rent to pay and as you read in my previous answer, good art takes time and I use my time to support myself!If you keep an eye out I will occasionally open for discounted art and I will host raffles for free art! So if you’re a little strapped for cash keep an eye out on my twitter for raffles or discount headshot days!

Do you work with minors?

Sorry! I do not work with minors!
You must be 18 to commission me!
My art may be SFW but that does not mean I do work with children or teenagers!
Once you are 18 I will be more than happy to do art for you!!!
I’ll be waiting!
(Please do NOT lie to me about your age, when i find out ((and I will find out)) I will blacklist you from commissioning me ever again. Please just be patient <3)

How do I commission you? What can I expect?

Dm me on twitter!
We will talk about your concept, you will pay for your slot in my queue and then I’ll add you to my trello and we will go from there!
You can expect at least one WIP each for the sketch, lineart and colors (and shading/painting depending on what you commissioned!) I wanna make sure you’re as involved as possible and that your commission comes out perfect!I promise I’m very nice! No need to be anxious!! I will also answer any question you have (that isn’t answered here) about commissioning me there as well!!

How do I pay you?

I ONLY ACCEPT PAYPAL PAYMENTS!
No exceptions!This keeps my files clean and protects both you and me!
I will not accept payment in cash, items, Venmo, cashapp or anything else.Paypal only!But I do also accept Kofis as tips!!!

BUST

A chest up portrait of your character!

  • + $10 for cel shading

  • + $25 for render style shading

  • Price doubles for additional characters (per character)

  • Simple backgrounds (like texture or clouds etc) come free with EVERY COMMISSION TYPE

  • + $15-20 for complex backgrounds

CHIBI

A more toony stylized fullbody of your character!

  • Chibi style fullbodies have a little less detail, more stylized bodies and faces and are usually much smaller

  • + $10 for cel shading

  • Rendering is not available for this commission type

  • + $10-25 for complex backgrounds

STANDARD FULLBODY

A detailed head to toe illustration of your character!

  • + $10 for cel shading

  • +$25 for render shading

  • Props are generally free, but if your prop is complex there will be a complexity charge.

  • Clothes are free for any commission

  • This is an example of flat colors >>

SCENE COMMISSION

A fully rendered illustration of your character interacting with a scene or location with a complex background!

  • + $65 for each extra character

  • There is a discount for groups over 4, dm for a quote with your group! I will do a group up to 35 characters.

  • If your background is overly complex you may be subject to a background complexity charge of up to + $35

  • Props are included in the price

OUTFIT REF SHEET

A reference sheet for your character and their main outfit!

  • This is the only style of ref sheet I offer.

  • The standard $125 ref sheet includes; the fullbody outfit reference, two sided chibi reference, inventory OR likes and dislikes, and your character info.

  • If your character is complex, or you have NO VISUAL REFERENCE (aka an old ref sheet, old art, crayon drawing etc etc any visual image of your character) then you will be subject to a complexity charge of up to $35

  • Add ons;

  • + $25 for each headshot you want

  • + $45 for a “scene style chibi” (your character in a scene aka living room, desk, reading etc)

  • + $75 for each extra fullbody outfit

STICKER PACK

A sticker or stickers to use on telegram of your character!

  • Each sticker is on a 500x500 pixel canvas

  • Stickers are done in a chibi style

Howdy! I’m Chevy!

Hi! My name is Chevelle, but please call me Chevy!
I’m a queer, non-binary, Texas based professional illustrator in my 20’s! I mainly work in the furry fandom, but also have worked outside of the fandom. Not only do I illustrate your wonderful characters, but I also am a professional mural artist and graphic designer! I have a cat, who skateboards and is definitely an alien from outerspace. I love books, podcasts, coffee, history, art of all kinds, fashion, shoes, dogs, sushi, music, candles and my boyfriend Miles! I also love to say that I’m the unofficial raising canes mascot. I am a self proclaimed Adobe Expert and create most of my art in procreate, photoshop and illustrator. I have a bachelors degree in technical theatre and I’ve been in the furry fandom since 2013!!I am seriously living my dream drawing all your awesome characters and bringing them to life in art for you!! This job brings me so much joy and pride and I absolutely LOVE my job!!!!! I owe every bit of it to ALL OF YOU!!!! I am so incredibly thankful and lucky that I get to have such a great job for such a great fandom full of awesome people. I am heavily involved in the furry community and genuinely want the best for this awesome community. I really believe that a customer is just as much a part of the creative process as the artist!
